Opens a new window. Position is for an HR Specialist with a property management company specializing in both residential and commercial properties, primarily in the Los Angeles County area. Duties include, but are not limited to: prepare job descriptions for open positions of employment; post advertisements for job openings on various platforms and monitor incoming applications; review resumes and screen potential applicants to ensure they meet the primary requires of the positions, and determine which applicants qualify to an interview; conduct interviews of qualified applicants and perform post-interview background checks; prepare and transmit job offers in coordinating with hiring manager; organize orientation sessions and onboarding for newly hired employees; ensure newly hired employees submit all necessary documentation and assist newly hired employees with completing documentation if necessary; perform exit interviews and offboarding process for employees leaving the company; document and resolve HR related matters such as payroll issues or employee grievances or escalate to supervisor when appreciate; and mediate conflicts between employees. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Psychology and 1 year of experience.
