This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead comprehensive human resources initiatives, foster positive employee relations, and support strategic workforce planning. As an integral part of our team, you will drive HR functions that enhance employee engagement, ensure legal compliance, and promote a thriving workplace culture. Your energetic approach and expertise will help us attract, develop, and retain top talent while maintaining smooth HR operations across diverse store locations. Duties Manage end-to-end talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees to ensure a seamless hiring experience. Oversee employee orientation programs to familiarize new hires with company policies, culture, and expectations. Conduct regular employee evaluations and performance management activities to support professional growth and organizational objectives. Administer benefits programs and handle benefits-related inquiries to ensure employees understand their options and receive timely support. Facilitate change management initiatives by communicating organizational updates and supporting transitions effectively. Ensure compliance with employment laws, OSHA regulations, FMLA guidelines, and other legal requirements across all locations. Maintain accurate HR data using HRIS systems such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors; analyze data for insights on workforce trends. Support HR department projects including succession planning, affirmative action planning, and organization design efforts. Handle employee relations issues with professionalism, employing conflict management skills to resolve concerns promptly. Administer workers' compensation claims and manage regulatory compliance documentation diligently. Requirements Proven experience in human resources management within a multi-location retail or similar environment. Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, HR legal compliance, and OSHA standards. Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, onboarding, training & development, and performance management. Proficiency with HR systems such as Workday, Oracle HCM, UltiPro, Taleo or similar platforms; advanced skills in Excel data analysis are preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information sensitively. Project management experience with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously. Familiarity with benefits administration, payroll processing, and personnel administration processes. Ability to implement strategic planning initiatives like organization design and workforce management effectively. Knowledge of employment law in talent management practices including FMLA and workers' compensation procedures.
