Industrial Steel & Construction Services The Role We are seeking a "front-of-the-line" Bilingual HR Generalist to support a high-intensity fabrication shop of ~80+ craft professionals. This is a critical, "boots-on-the-ground" role where you will act as the primary HR face for our California operations, bridging the gap between field employees, site management, and our Arizona headquarters.

Key Highlights Employee Lifecycle:

Manage everything from hiring and onboarding to performance reviews, discipline, and terminations for a blue-collar, industrial workforce.

Bilingual Communication:

Daily, fluent interaction in Spanish and English is mandatory to support our primarily Spanish-speaking staff.

Compliance & Payroll:

Oversee California/Arizona labor law compliance and manage payroll data within eBacon (Prevailing Wage experience is a major plus).

Tech-Savvy:

Experience with construction-focused HRIS/Payroll (eBacon, Gusto, or Ultipro).

Thick Skin:

Ability to handle a high-pressure environment with a "needy" and hardworking workforce.

Presence:

Must be comfortable performing daily shop floor walks in required PPE. Schedule & Placement 100%

On-Site:

No remote/hybrid options.

Flexible Hours:

Ability to align with shop production hours (which can start as early as 4:00 AM).

Contract Terms:

This is a Temp-to-Perm position. You will work as a contract employee for a maximum of 6 months before converting to permanent status based on performance.

Pay:

$26.00 - $34.00 per hour
