This role partners closely with plant leadership to drive employee engagement, ensure compliance, and support a 24/7 workforce. The HR Generalist will act as a key liaison between employees and management, ensuring consistent application of policies and alignment with business goals. Key Responsibilities Employee Relations Serve as the primary contact for employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions Advise supervisors and managers on HR policies, performance management, and workplace concerns Maintain accurate documentation and support corrective action processes Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture Recruitment & Onboarding Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles Source candidates, screen applicants, coordinate interviews, and manage offer processes Build talent pipelines through partnerships with schools and community organizations Oversee onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth new hire experience Compliance & HR Administration Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Maintain HRIS data accuracy and employee records Support audits and enforce company policies and procedures Benefits & Leave Management Administer employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries Manage leave programs including FMLA, workers' compensation, and disability claims Coordinate open enrollment and benefits communication Compensation & HR Programs Assist with compensation analysis and salary benchmarking Support performance management cycles and employee evaluations Contribute to engagement and recognition initiatives Safety & EHS Partner with EHS teams to maintain a safe work environment Participate in safety meetings and incident investigations Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards Training & Development Coordinate employee training programs including onboarding, compliance, and leadership development Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives HRIS & Reporting Utilize systems such as Workday, ADP, UKG, or SAP to manage employee data Track and analyze HR metrics including turnover, absenteeism, and time-to-fill Preferred Qualifications PHR or SHRM-CP certification Experience working in a 24/7 production environment Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing setting and is passionate about supporting both employees and business operations.
