- 08:00-16:30 8 hour shifts Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Onboarding Support Specialist to support candidates from offer acceptance through their first day.
This role manages onboarding requirements, background checks, documentation, HR data entry, and coordination with HR, Talent Acquisition, Employee Health, IT, Payroll, and hiring managers. Responsibilities Serve as the primary contact for candidates throughout onboarding. Coordinate background checks, employment/education verification, references, credentialing, and health assessments. Ensure I-9 and other onboarding documentation is completed accurately and on time. Maintain employee records and onboarding workflows in Oracle Cloud HCM and UKG . Track clearances, start dates, orientation, and system access. Communicate proactively with candidates and hiring leaders regarding requirements or delays. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with applicable employment regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred. 2+ years of HR or onboarding experience preferred. Healthcare/hospital HR experience preferred. Minimum typing speed of 60 WPM . Strong Excel/Smartsheet, Word, database, and spreadsheet skills. Oracle ERP/Cloud HCM experience preferred. Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment. Must maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
