Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Fontana, CA. This role is ideal for a well-rounded human resources professional who enjoys supporting employees and managers across multiple HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance. The HR Generalist will play an important role in creating a productive, professional, and positive workplace environment. - Manage day-to-day HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment support, onboarding, performance management, and policy administration.
- Support managers and employees by answering HR-related questions and helping resolve workplace concerns in a professional and compliant manner.
- Assist with benefits administration, employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation.
- Help ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and HR best practices.
- Coordinate communication between employees and management to support a positive and productive work environment.
- Contribute to process improvements and HR initiatives that support employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage employee relations, HR policy administration, and day-to-day human resources support.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and benefits administration.
- Maintain HR documentation, employee records, and compliance-related processes.
- Partner with leadership and employees to support a positive workplace culture.
- 3 to 5 years of human resources experience, preferably in a generalist capacity.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications
- Prior HR Generalist experience in a staffing, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or office environment.
- Familiarity with California employment regulations and HR compliance practices.
- Experience supporting employee engagement, performance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
