H&A is currently serving 16 major auto manufacturers nationwide and in Canada. The HR Specialist is responsible for administering and coordinating key employee lifecycle programs, with primary responsibility for onboarding, corrective action administration, and leave management. This role ensures consistent execution of HR processes, maintains compliance with company policies and applicable regulations, supports HR reporting and analytics, and serves as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR programs and procedures. EAP Program Responsibilities:
- Essential Functions Percentage
- Own the onboarding process from pre-hire through new hire integration, including processing new hire paperwork, HRIS/HCM setup and updates, I-9 completion, E-Verify administration, orientation, new hire communications, training assignments, onboarding tracking.
- Administer the corrective action process, including preparation and tracking of disciplinary documentation, ensuring compliance with company procedures, obtaining required approvals and signatures, maintaining records, and conducting audits to ensure consistency and completion.
- Administer employee leave programs, including tracking leave activity, coordinating required documentation, communicating with employees and managers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports, workforce metrics, audits, dashboards, and other data analysis to support department and business needs.
- Support organizational changes, HR system readiness activities, benefits administration, open enrollment activities, employee communications, and other departmental projects as assigned.

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in onboarding, leave administration, employee lifecycle management, benefits administration, or HR operations.
- Experience administering
HRIS/HCM
systems, maintaining employee records, and supporting onboarding activities. Paylocity experience preferred.- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience preparing reports, conducting audits, and supporting HR projects preferred.
