Human Resources Generalist (Bilingual English/Spanish)About the Role We are seeking a proactive, bilingual Human Resources Generalist to support and execute a broad range of HR functions across the employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing strategic HR initiatives with hands-on operational support. As a key member of the HR team, you will lead recruitment efforts, manage onboarding and offboarding programs, support benefits and payroll administration, ensure compliance with employment laws, and serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a positive employee experience. What You'll DoTalent Acquisition & Employee Lifecycle

+ Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer administration.

+ Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

+ Coordinate and facilitate onboarding programs to ensure successful employee integration.

+ Lead offboarding activities, including exit documentation and separation processes. HR Operations & Administration

+ Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within the HRIS.

+ Support benefits administration, including open enrollment, employee inquiries, and vendor coordination.

+ Assist with payroll-related processes by ensuring employee data accuracy and responding to payroll inquiries.

+ Administer workers' compensation and leave-related processes as required. Employee Relations & Compliance

+ Serve as a primary HR resource for employee and manager questions regarding policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace concerns.

+ Provide HR support in both English and Spanish.

+ Assist with employee relations matters and help ensure fair, consistent application of company policies.

+ Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.

+ Maintain employee handbook content and HR policies to ensure ongoing compliance.

+ Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate HR documentation and records. Performance & Employee Engagement

+ Support performance review cycles and performance improvement initiatives.

+ Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, and culture-building programs.

+ Help foster an inclusive, positive, and high-performing workplace environment. Reporting & Analytics

+ Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics related to recruiting, retention, turnover, engagement, and other key people metrics.

+ Provide insights and recommendations to HR leadership to support business objectives. Required Qualifications

+ Fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills. + 5+ years of HR Generalist or related human resources experience.

+ Demonstrated experience in:

+ Full-cycle recruiting

+ Onboarding and offboarding

+ Benefits administration

+ Payroll support

+ Workers' compensation

+ Employee relations

+ HRIS administration

+ Performance management

+ Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and regulatory compliance.

+ Experience supporting audits, documentation, and policy administration.

+ Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems.

+ Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.

+ Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

+ Self-starter with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

+ SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or comparable HR certification.

+ Experience within manufacturing, life sciences, biotechnology, or highly regulated industries.

+ Experience developing HR reports, metrics, and workforce analytics.

+ Expirience supporting employee engagement and recognition programs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oceanside, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
