Job Description
Pacific Staffing is partnering with our Rocklin CA client to identify a knowledgeable and highly capable Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations within an employee-focused organization. This role is ideal for an HR professional who excels at employee relations, leave administration, policy interpretation, HRIS support, and coaching supervisors through complex HR matters with sound judgment and professionalism. The Human Resources Generalist will provide full-cycle HR support, lead key HR reorganization initiatives, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and serve as a trusted resource to employees and supervisors across the organization. $38 - $44/Hr. (DOE)
Administer leaves of absence, accommodations, and workers' compensation.
Support employee relations, investigations, and policy interpretation.
Lead org chart updates and departmental change-management planning.
Create and execute communication plans for organizational changes.
Conduct compensation reviews and support job description creation/finalization.
Facilitate new hire orientation, HR trainings, and engagement initiatives.
Maintain HRIS records, reporting, and compliance with state/federal laws.
Partner with supervisors on staffing, performance, and retention strategies.
Draft policies, safeguard personnel files, and support HR audits.
Strong knowledge of CA and federal employment laws.
Excellent communication, judgment, confidentiality, and coaching skills.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Valid driver's license and insurance.
Role Type:
Six-month Contract with possibility of hire into a full-time role. Hybrid with 3 days on Site in Rocklin CA.Responsibilities:

Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree + 3 years HR experience.3-5 years in employee relations, LOA, accommodations, and performance management.3 years HRIS experience; UKG Ready preferred.Strong knowledge of CA and federal employment laws.
Excellent communication, judgment, confidentiality, and coaching skills.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Valid driver's license and insurance.
