September 24, 2026 The City of Redwood City is seeking a Senior Human Resources Analyst to lead our core people programs, including ensuring CalPERS retirement compliance, benefits administration, ADA and leave administration. This is the person our employees turn to at the moments that matter most: planning for retirement, taking leave, or requesting accommodation. You will champion their well-being by running these programs directly and by leading the team that supports them. The Senior Human Resources Analyst is an advanced journey level and supervisory confidential classification. Incumbents are expected to work independently, perform and coordinate the full scope of assigned program activities, and supervise and train staff assigned to the specific program areas. This position administers and applies CalPERS requirements, manages benefits administration, ADA accommodations, leave administration and HRIS administration, while supervising the staff who support these functions. The position also develops, revises, and implements human resources policies and procedures and may prepare or manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) related to these program areas.
