Operations Site Lead (San Diego)

Job Description

HireArt is looking for an organized, resourceful, and empathetic Operations Site Lead with excellent communication skills to provide onsite operations support to a key client. Your work will focus on providing an outstanding experience for both our client and our contract employees through a tasteful and strategic approach to employee onboarding, training, support, performance management, engagement, and the resolution of HR-related inquiries. As an Operations Site Lead, you'll: Drive employee day-one readiness by ensuring: Onboarding materials are received and logged in the appropriate systems Critical first day information is clearly communicated to new hires Challenges, questions, and issues are proactively resolved in order to complete onboarding within 24 hours Field payroll, timesheet, PTO, benefits, and other employee inquiries via Zendesk, Slack, in-person, and phone. Address performance, behavior, and attendance issues through coaching, feedback, documentation, and termination, as needed. Monitor attendance and submit accurate timekeeping hours for client approval. Develop a strong rapport with our client and workers as the main point-of-contact for contract employee HR-related inquiries and concerns. Provide deployment and recruiting support to our client. Strategically guide further development and administration of the employee experience. Implement and own scalable people operations processes and resources that balance positive employee experiences with client policies, procedures, and satisfaction. You'll be successful in this role if you can: Work in a highly autonomous and high-trust environment, using effective time management and prioritization skills to your advantage. Demonstrate excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate in a highly effective and professional manner across levels. Tactfully and confidently provide constructive feedback. Exercise compassion, empathy, respect, and kindness in all interactions. Anticipate needs, think critically about business issues, and make thoughtful recommendations quickly and efficiently. 2+ years of experience providing direct people support to a workforce of 50+ in the realm of Operations, HR, Employee Experience, or Workforce Management. 1+ years of experience supporting clients as a point of contact/liaison A strong understanding of program management and experience optimizing, documenting, and defining programmatic processes. Tech savvy with experience working within project management and relationship management platforms. Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel or Google Sheets) You'll Really Stand out if you have: 5+ years of Operations, HR, Employee Experience, Workforce Management, or Recruiting experience Experience in the Autonomous Vehicle Operator (AVO) and/or Contract Workforce spaces. Familiarity with VNDLY or another VMS platform, Workday, Monday.com, and Zendesk. An HR certification. A Project Management certification.
