POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team and provide day-to-day operational and tactical support to the HR Business Partner (HRBP) team. This role will be responsible for executing and coordinating routine HR processes and transactions, helping ensure that HRBP requests and business needs are handled accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is hands-on, systems-savvy, highly organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global environment. This individual will work closely with HRBPs, business leaders, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and other HR functions, while serving as a strong support partner to the HRBP team and providing backup support to HRBPs when needed. The role will also interact directly with business leaders and employees on routine HR matters. This position will be based out of San Francisco CA or Irvine, CARESPONSIBILITIES
Provide day-to-day support to the HRBP team, including coordinating, processing, tracking, and following up on routine HR activities and requests. Process and coordinate job requisitions in the Jobvite system, ensuring required information and approvals are complete and following up with stakeholders to keep requests moving in a timely manner. Process employee movements and organizational changes in the Cleverse system, including transfers, promotions, reporting changes, and other employee transactions. Maintain accurate employee and organizational information, HR documentation, and system records, and assist with routine HR reporting, data requests, and audits. Identify opportunities to improve HR workflows, increase operational efficiency, and reduce manual processes. Serve as a responsive point of contact for routine HR-related questions from business leaders and employees, escalating complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate HRBP. Monitor and track HR requests, action items, and deadlines; proactively follow up with stakeholders and communicate status, outstanding items, or potential delays. Provide backup tactical support to HRBPs during planned and unplanned absences to help ensure continuity of support for business leaders and employees.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience in Human Resources, HR coordination, HR operations, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong working knowledge of HRIS platforms, ATS systems, and HR Operations workflows; Cleverse and/or Jobvite experience preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and a high volume of transactional work accurately and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to maintain accurate and confidential employee information. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with employees, business leaders, and HR partners. Demonstrated responsiveness, sense of urgency, and strong follow-through, with the ability to independently manage routine requests and appropriately escalate issues. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in an HR Coordinator, HR Operations, or HR Generalist capacity. Solid understanding of employment laws and HR compliance Experience processing job requisitions, employee transfers, promotions, organizational changes, or other HR transactions. Working knowledge of core HR processes and employment practices. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth organization. Solar industry or renewable energy experience.COMPENSATION
In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the anticipated annual base salary for this position is: Zone 1 (Bay Area, NYC): $34.33- $41.20/hr ($71,400
- $85,700) Zone 2 (CA, NJ, NY): $31.49
- $37.74/hr ($65,500
- $78,500) Zone 3 (All others): $28.61
- $34.33/hr ($59,500
- $71,400) The applicable salary range is based on the employee's primary work location.
