This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being hands-on, working closely with employees and leadership, and having a meaningful impact across a broad range of HR functions. The ideal candidate is a proactive, approachable HR professional who can work independently, build strong relationships throughout an organization, and confidently manage both day-to-day HR needs and important compliance-related responsibilities. Bilingual Spanish fluency is required. What You'll Do This is a diverse HR role with responsibility across human resources, payroll, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and recruiting.
Key areas of responsibility include:
Manage and maintain HR policies, procedures, employee records, and the employee handbook. Oversee employee onboarding, offboarding, and exit interview processes. Maintain accurate employee compensation and wage information. Support employee relations and provide guidance on HR-related policies and workplace matters. Coordinate annual participation in industry compensation and salary surveys. Lead the workplace safety committee and assist with OSHA-related compliance initiatives. Manage workers' compensation reporting and participate in workplace injury investigations. Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process, including resume review and candidate interviews. Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accurate handling of PTO, retirement contributions, wage garnishments, and HSA/FSA deductions. Maintain employee changes related to promotions, terminations, leaves, and other status updates. Coordinate annual 401(k) census reporting, audits, and related processes. Administer employee benefits, including eligibility, enrollment, renewals, deductions, and contribution processing. Regularly review HR, payroll, and benefits records for accuracy and compliance. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience/certification . 3-5 years of HR-related experience, with at least 2 years in a similar HR Generalist capacity. Experience supporting multiple areas of HR, including payroll, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and HRIS. Strong understanding of employment compliance and HR best practices. Fluent in Spanish and English. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information. Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience working in the wine industry is a plus. Experience with IBS is a plus. Why Consider This Opportunity?
