Job Description

Payroll & Human Resources Generalist
  • Location:
    Ventura, CA
  • Pay:
    $35-40/hr DOE
  • We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Human Resources Generalist to join our team and support a workforce of approximately 450 employees.
This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional with strong payroll expertise who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position is approximately 60% payroll and 40% human resources, serving as the primary onsite resource for payroll, timekeeping, employee support, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, and HR compliance.
  • Qualifications
  • 5+ years of payroll administration experience, preferably supporting 400+ employees.
  • 3+ years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience with an integrated HRIS/payroll system; Dayforce preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing, timekeeping, payroll laws, and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of California employment laws and HR practices strongly preferred.
  • Experience with employee relations, leave administration, recruiting, onboarding, and HR compliance.
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
