Role:
North Range Behavioral Health is seeking a mission-driven Senior Human Resources Generalist who is passionate about supporting employees and fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace. In this role, you will serve as the primary resource for employee relations and leave management, guiding leaders and staff through complex workplace matters with fairness, empathy, and consistency. You will lead workplace investigations, ensure the consistent application of HR policies, and administer leave and accommodation programs with a strong focus on compliance and employee support. What You Will Do:
Serve as a trusted partner for employee relations by leading through, fair, and objective investigations into complex workplace concerns, ensuring consistency, compliance, and respect for all employees. Coach and support managers in performance management, corrective actions, and policy interpretation, empowering leaders to address challenges with confidence and empathy. Foster a positive and respectful workplace culture by facilitating conflict resolution and guiding reams toward fair and consistent outcomes. Maintain accurate, thorough, and compliant documentation of employee relations matters to support transparency, accountability, and sound decision making. Lead the administration of leave of absence programs, including
FMLA, CO
FAMLI, medical, and parental leave, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for employees. Serve as the primary point of contact for leave-related inquiries, providing clear, timely, and compassionate guidance to employees and managers. Guide the ADA interactive process by evaluating accommodation requests and partnering with leaders to implement effective, individualized return-to-work. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local leave laws while maintaining precise and organized records. Champion a culture of safety by leading and supporting workplace safety initiatives that prioritize employee well-being. Manage workers' compensation claims end-to-end, coordinating reporting, documentation, and communicating with internal and external partners. Partner with managers to ensure timely incident reporting and the implementation of effective corrective actions. Support safety committee initiatives and contribute to ongoing safety training and awareness efforts. Promote Compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies, helping to minimize risk and uphold timely integrity. Conduct audits and process reviews to identify gaps, strengthen practices, and support continuous improvement. Monitor trends in employee relations, leave management, and safety, using insights to recommend proactive, mission-aligned solutions. Stay current on evolving HR laws and best practices to ensure compliance and a forward-thinking approach to people strategies. Great Fit If You:
Have a bachelor's degree in human resources or related field or have an equivalent combination of education and experience. Have 3 years of experience working in a Human Resources department focused on administration of leaves of absence, navigating complex employee relations issues, and compliance. Demonstrated experience with administering leave programs including management of overlapping federal and state leave policies (ex.
FMLA, CO FAMLI, ADA
). Experience in coordinating benefits related to leave of absence programs. Demonstrated experience handling complex employee relations issues and workplace investigations. Experience managing workers' compensation and workplace safety programs. Can successfully complete pre-employment screening, including background check, fingerprinting, and drug and TB testing. Bilingual English/Spanish speaking and writing skills desired.
