Job Description

HR Generalist Salary:
$90k-95k+ commensurate with experience

Responsibilities of HR Generalist:
Recruit across field, shop, administrative, supervisory, management, fleet, safety, and operations roles. Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, trade schools, workforce programs, industry networks, and direct outreach. Manage the full hiring cycle — postings, screening, interviews, pre-employment checks, offers, and onboarding. Partner with hiring managers on staffing needs, seasonal demand, position requirements, and long-term workforce planning. Maintain HR records, including applicant tracking, personnel files, and compliance documentation. Support compliance with EEO, wage and hour, FMLA, ADA, I-9, DOT, and other labor regulations. Assist the HR Director with employee relations, policy updates, benefits, payroll changes, offboarding, audits, and special projects.
Preferred Experience of HR Generalist:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 4–7 years of HR experience, with a proven track record in recruiting and hiring. Recruiting experience in blue-collar, construction, transportation, fleet, or similar labor-based environments preferred. Experience hiring for roles spanning entry-level, skilled trade, administrative, supervisory, and management positions. Working knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, employee documentation, and general HR administration. #LI-GW1 #LI-Onsite #
