$27 - $29/hour We are currently partnering with a mission-driven organization in the Hamden area that is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a people-focused environment and wants to contribute to an organization making a meaningful impact in the community. About the Role The HR Generalist will provide day-to-day support across a variety of human resources functions, working closely with employees and leadership to help ensure smooth and effective HR operations. This role is well suited for someone who is organized, approachable, and comfortable handling a broad range of HR responsibilities. Responsibilities Support day-to-day HR operations and employee needs Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, and related documentation Maintain accurate and confidential employee records Assist with recruiting, interview coordination, and hiring processes Support benefits administration and employee inquiries Help coordinate employee communications and HR initiatives Assist with performance management and employee relations matters Ensure HR policies and procedures are communicated and followed Assist with compliance-related activities and required documentation Prepare reports and maintain HR-related records and files Support various HR projects and initiatives as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred 2+ years of experience in a generalist or broad HR role Working knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment regulations Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with employees and leadership Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office/Excel preferred Why Consider This Opportunity?
