Join our team as the HR & Payroll Generalist and play a key role in supporting our employees, maintaining strong HR operations, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. What You'll Do The HR & Payroll Generalist supports and owns a broad range of Human Resources responsibilities while serving as the primary owner of company payroll. Support day-to-day multi-state HR administration across Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island Coordinate and own the new hire onboarding process Maintain employee records and HRIS data in ADP Workforce Now Support employee relations and serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, payroll, and HR procedures Administer FMLA and assist with workers' compensation and OSHA recordkeeping Support HR compliance, reporting, documentation, and Culture & Care initiatives Assist with employee changes, separations, benefits administration, and other general HR responsibilities Payroll Ownership This position is solely responsible for processing and managing the company's payroll cycles. Independently process weekly Rhode Island payroll and biweekly Connecticut payroll Manage payroll from preparation and review through final submission Process complex payroll involving sales commissions, bonuses, incentives, and other variable compensation Review timekeeping, PTO, deductions, reimbursements, compensation changes, and payroll adjustments Use ADP Workforce Now, Salesforce, Excel, and Google Sheets to review and validate payroll information Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies Maintain accurate payroll records and support payroll reporting, audits, and year-end processes Coordinate with managers, Sales, Finance, and other departments to ensure payroll information is accurate and submitted on time Finance Office Support In addition to HR and payroll responsibilities, this position will serve as a backup resource for the Finance Department when needed. Provide backup support for miscellaneous bookkeeping and finance-related administrative tasks Assist with basic financial recordkeeping and documentation as requested Help support Finance Department coverage during absences, high-volume periods, or other business needs Finance support is a secondary responsibility and does not replace the primary HR and payroll functions of this position.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, in-office (Simsbury, CT), 8:30 AM-5:00 PM. This position may require additional hours based on business, payroll, and operational needs. Employees in this role should be prepared to work up to approximately 50 hours in a week when necessary to meet business demands, deadlines, or coverage needs.Salary Range:

Pay:
$75,000.00- $85,000.
