Description Perform duties to provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming telephone calls and greet candidates, assist with related routine inquiries. Process job openings and maintain job requisitions via the HRIS software. Ability to recruit and source candidates. Process background verifications and drug screenings. Enter and maintain new hire information in the HRIS software. Schedule and assist with new hire orientation. Create and maintain employee personnel files in line with company policies and government regulations. Maintain and update I9 re-verifications and driving records as required. Process new hire and/or termination paperwork and files. Assist with HR related special projects.
Skills & Qualifications:
Must have a High School diploma or its equivalent and one to two years of functional experience in Human Resources; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct. Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work. Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management. Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned. Strong administrative background. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail oriented and strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Must have strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook. Proficiency researching the Internet. Ability to work with sensitive or confidential information. Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
