What You Will Be Doing:
The Early Talent & University Programs Specialist is responsible for building, executing, and sustaining Yancey Bros. Co.'s university and early-career recruiting strategy. This role focuses on sourcing and on-boarding top student and early-career talent for the Sales & Leadership Training (SaLT) Program and Internship Programs by developing strong campus partnerships, managing full-cycle recruiting, and maintaining an engaged pipeline of future talent. This position plays a key role in strengthening Yancey's long-term talent pipeline through: proactive university engagement, candidate relationship management, collaboration with internal leaders to align early talent with current and future business needs, assisting the Training Programs Manager with the implementation of established program.
Primary Responsibilities:
Recruiting top talent candidates via, referrals, our on-line website and various recruiting tools. Making and establishing relationships with identified Universities and programs. Scheduling / creating / participating in / hosting hiring events such as job fairs, recruiting events, site tours, welcome events, 'get to know Yancey' events, program graduations and 'Alumni' gatherings. Leading the on-line and social media presence of the Sales and Leadership and internship programs. Other duties as assigned and qualified.
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner. Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Who We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this position you should be organized, show an attention for detail and a sense of urgency. The ability to multitask, problem solve and provide superior customer service are essential to this position as well.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred 2 years' experience in like industries preferred Experience in campus recruiting preferred

Excellent communication skills - In person as well as written Works well independently and as a team player Organization skills in scheduling, tracking, execution and follow-up Driven by goal completion Event planning and execution Relationship driven communication style Stakeholder influence without authority Time management with competing priorities Candidate data management High energy and comfortable being on campuses and in front of groups
Physical Demand and Environmental Conditions:
Travel required to and from campuses and events Some overnight travel required Extended periods of standing required Movement of materials to and from events Occasional outdoor events Office settings Convention type halls
