Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our bakery team, dedicated to fostering a positive and compliant work environment. Responsibilities Lead talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through HR systems such as ATS platforms like Lever, iCIMS, or Workday; coordinate interviews and facilitate onboarding processes to ensure seamless employee orientation. Manage employee relations by addressing workplace concerns promptly, mediating conflicts effectively, and fostering a collaborative environment aligned with company values. Administer benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, workers' compensation claims, and FMLA leave to support employee well-being. Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws by maintaining accurate records, conducting audits, and implementing policies related to HR legal compliance and regulatory standards. Support performance management initiatives through employee evaluation processes, training & development programs, and succession planning activities to promote continuous growth. Oversee HRIS data entry and analysis using systems such as Oracle HCM or SAP SuccessFactors for accurate personnel administration and workforce management reporting. Coordinate project management tasks related to organization design, affirmative action planning, and HR sourcing strategies to optimize staffing efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in human resources management within a manufacturing or bakery environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA regulations, workers' compensation procedures, and HR legal compliance standards. Demonstrated ability in talent acquisition techniques including recruiting strategies and ATS utilization such as UltiPro or Kenexa BrassRing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications—especially Excel for data analysis—and familiarity with HR systems like Kronos or UltiPro for payroll processing and timekeeping. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly while managing employee relations effectively. Project management skills with experience in organization design, change management initiatives, and strategic planning processes. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in administrative tasks such as data collection and report generation.
