Job Description

Description Robert Half HR Solutions is currently sourcing for a contract part time Human Resources Generalist to support our client who operates in a manufacturing environment. This role combines day-to-day HR operations with hands-on employee relations and payroll support, requiring someone who can work effectively across multiple priorities. The position is primarily onsite four days per week with one remote day, and the schedule may average approximately 20 hours weekly depending on business needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide broad HR support across employee relations, onboarding, benefits coordination, and routine HR administration for the local workforce.
  • Assist with payroll-related activities by reviewing information for accuracy, addressing discrepancies, and helping ensure timely processing.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, offering guidance on workplace issues and escalating matters appropriately when needed.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including documentation, orientation support, and system record updates.
  • Maintain accurate employee information within HRIS platforms and support reporting or data requests as needed.
  • Partner with external staffing agencies to help manage contract labor needs and facilitate smooth communication on workforce matters.
  • Support benefits-related processes by answering employee questions, assisting with enrollments, and coordinating with vendors or service partners.
  • Establish and maintain consistent office coverage and communication routines aligned with the agreed onsite and remote schedule. Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR support role.
  • Demonstrated background in employee relations, including handling workplace concerns with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Experience assisting with payroll processes and resolving related administrative issues.
  • Working knowledge of onboarding, benefits administration, and core HR operations.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and the ability to maintain accurate employee records.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and external staffing partners.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid arrangement that includes regular onsite presence in Kennesaw, Georgia.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or high-volume workforce environments is preferred.
