Location:
on-site, Macon, GA, Travel may be required (5%). International travel if necessary.
Core Hours:
Monday - FridayAvailable openings: 1
Relocation Assistance:
Not Available. Applicants should reside within commuting distance or be willing to relocate independently prior to their start date.
Salary Range:
$70,000-$80,000/year

Job Summary:
The Senior HR Generalist & Recruiter plays a key role in building and supporting a strong, engaged workforce. This position leads full-cycle recruitment while also partnering with leadership and employees on key HR initiatives, including employee relations, onboarding, compliance, performance management, and policy administration. As a trusted HR partner, this role helps identify and attract top talent, strengthen the employee experience, and foster a positive workplace culture aligned with company values. The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on problem solver who builds strong relationships, communicates effectively, and can confidently balance the day-to-day needs of recruiting with broader HR responsibilities.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles, including manufacturing, technical, and professional positionsDevelop job postings, source candidates, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate offersPartner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, Build recruiting strategies to maintain compensation trends to support team membersCoordinate onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a positive and welcoming new hire experienceSupport employee relations by providing guidance on policies, procedures, and conflict resolutionMaintain compliance with employment laws and company policies at all locationsSupport HR initiatives such as engagement programs, internal communications, and retention strategiesTake ownership of metrics related to recruitment and KPIs related to ManagerMaintain accurate HRIS records and generate reports as neededPerform administrative tasks related to recruiting, employee files, and manager communicationsUtilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platform to meet organizational goalsAssist with administering performance reviews, corrective actions, and policy updates
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field5+ years of experience in a combined HR generalist and recruiting roleStrong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and full-cycle recruitingExcellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentialityExperience supporting a manufacturing or multi-site workforceThis position may require extended travel. Preferred QualificationsSHRM-CP or PHR certification
