- Compiling necessary time and attendance data from Whirlpool's automated timekeeping system in order to perform bi-weekly payroll
- Performing data audit checks to ensure completeness and accuracy of required payroll information
- Collaborate with other support functions to ensure adjustments and deductions are submitted for payroll
- Maintain confidentiality in dealing with employee records and payroll information with a high degree of quality and accuracy
- Support local payroll administration, including inquiry and issue support for case management requests
- Knowledge of local HR policies and procedures impacting payroll
- Prioritize competing requests while ensuring payroll deadlines are met
- Participate in activities as needed (i.e. system testing, KPI's, reporting, special project support, SOX audits, etc.)
- Responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of documentation while championing continuous improvement ## Minimum requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in Payroll, Timekeeping or Data Entry ## Preferred skills and experiences
- Bachelor's degree or actively working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Accounting
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Google suite (mail, sheets, docs)
- Experience with automated timekeeping systems (Kronos/UKG)
- Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)
- Strong communications skills

- Experience working in a union environment
- Able to enforce compliance requirements
- Be well organized with attention to detail and follow up skills
- Ability to prioritize with varied timelines and be results oriented
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
