Job Description As a Security Officer Driver Credential Screening in Amana, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor access activity, and respond to alarms and other security-related concerns. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site requirements. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help identify unauthorized access or security-related concerns. Document observations, incidents, and access-control activities accurately and complete required reports in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
