Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support the daily human resource functions of Portzen Construction. The Human Resources Generalist will administer a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR recordkeeping. The Human Resources Generalist serves as a trusted resource, ensuring HR policies and practices are applied consistently and align with our company's values, culture, and business objectives. Responsibilities Manage recruitment, including job postings. Coordinate new hire onboarding and employee orientation. Support employee relations by responding to questions and resolving concerns. Administer employee benefits and assist with enrollment. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality. Assist with HR compliance, policy administration, and employment law requirements. Perform other HR-related duties as assigned. Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates should possess: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, administrative, and clerical skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization. A positive attitude, professionalism, integrity, and a willingness to learn. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Two to three years of Human Resources experience.
