Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations and help create a positive, well-organized employee experience in West Des Moines, Iowa. This role will contribute across key HR functions, including employee support, onboarding coordination, benefits administration, and maintenance of accurate personnel records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, approachable, and comfortable working across multiple priorities while ensuring compliance and consistency in HR processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Support employees and managers by addressing routine workplace concerns, answering policy-related questions, and helping resolve employee relations matters in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including pre-employment documentation, orientation scheduling, and preparation of employee records.
  • Administer HR processes related to benefits, enrollment updates, and employee questions, while working closely with internal partners and external providers as needed.
  • Maintain accurate information within HR systems and personnel files, ensuring data integrity, timely updates, and proper documentation.
  • Assist with day-to-day HR administration such as employment changes, status updates, leave tracking, and general recordkeeping.
  • Partner with leadership to support consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employment practices.
  • Help prepare reports, audits, and documentation needed for compliance, internal review, and operational planning.
  • Contribute to process improvements within HR operations to enhance efficiency, service quality, and the overall employee experience.
