Manufacturing Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Senior Human Resource Generalist aids with and facilitates the human resource processes on a day-to-day basis. This role processes payroll on a weekly basis and administers employee health and welfare plans and acts as liaison between employees and insurance providers. This position resolves benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time Works with temporary staffing agencies to reconcile labor invoices. Contact various department supervisors for any missed times or missed punches. Process weekly payroll Assists in safety and Workers' comp activities. Compile internal management reports from payroll system software. Performs data entry and personnel file maintenance. Assist with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures. Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions. Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status. Handles schedule changes for all departments. Manages attendance point system within payroll and works with management team to administers corrective action to employees. Administers employee access card system. Handles all W4; Direct Deposit requests; Terminations in the system. Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Reconciles monthly benefit statements. Assist manager with employee events. Compiles weekly labor reports. Assist in employee relations investigations. All other duties assigned.
Hours & Classification:
The Senior Human Resource Generalist will generally work Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm and be classified as an exempt employee.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • 3-5 years' experience in HR or payroll related field
  • Demonstrated solid working knowledge of Microsoft Applications, including Word & Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and possess excellent follow up skills.
  • Must be comfortable in engaging with all levels of leadership.
  • Excellent problem-solving techniques
  • Effective communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Must work well as part of a team as well as independently.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification a plus
  • Manufacturing experience a plus
  • ADP experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
Pay:
$70,480.98 - $84,880.33 per year
