HR Generalist

Chicago, IL 60651 (Onsite)

Contract-to-hire Pay:

$21-$23/hour INSPRY Solutions has teamed up with a large non-profit organization located in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago who is in search of an HR Generalist. Please note that this role will be fully onsite and operate Monday - Friday; 8am - 4:30pm

Job Responsibilities:

Administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance on policies and procedures Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and compliance documentation Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Support performance management processes, including reviews and employee development plans Coordinate benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data Assist with payroll coordination and ensure accurate employee data reporting Support organizational initiatives such as diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts and employee engagement programs

Qualifications:

Must have at least 2+ years of HR Generalist experience Non-profit exeprience is preferred Must be strong with Microsoft Office Suite Must be comfortable with a contract-to-hire position Must be comfortable working onsite 5 days/week About INSPYR Solutions Technology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
