Job Description

Job Overview HR Generalist will support the Human Resources function at the Round Lake Manufacturing Plant, with a primary focus on leave administration, employee accommodations, employee life cycle events, and employee relations. This role serves as a trusted resource to employees and leaders, ensuring HR programs and practices are administered consistently, compliantly, and effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing leave and accommodation processes and resolving employee relations matters in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Workday is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Administer employee leave programs, including tracking, documentation, and case management in compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Manage accommodation requests and engage in the interactive process to support employees requiring workplace accommodation. Works independently to resolve straightforward ER issues. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns. Assist the employee life cycle processes (recruitment, onboarding and offboarding) Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within Workday and other HR systems. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees visiting HR, assessing their needs, tracking recurring concerns, and proactively communicating strategic solutions to address underlying issues. Experience High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 1-3 years of Human Resource experience. No sensitivity or allergy to penicillin or cephalosporins due to potential exposure within the manufacturing facility. Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and applicable employment laws and regulations. Experience managing sensitive employee matters with professionalism, sound judgment, and confidentiality. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems; Workday experience preferred. Pay:
$35.00 - $38.00 per hour
