full-time A leading Am Law firm is seeking a Manager, Legal Talent Development with 5+ years of experience in a law firm or professional services environment. This role will partner closely with practice group leaders and attorneys to develop and enhance attorney training, career development, mentoring, and professional development programs. Responsibilities Partner with practice group leaders to identify attorney development needs and implement targeted programs Design and manage curricula focused on substantive legal and professional skills Develop experiential and technology-enabled learning initiatives Incorporate emerging trends, including AI, into attorney development programs Support mentoring, sponsorship, coaching, and career development initiatives Advise attorneys on career development, performance, and advancement Analyze feedback and program data to improve development initiatives Collaborate on firm wide talent development priorities and strategic initiatives Supervise and mentor junior team members Qualifications 5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or professional services environment Experience in attorney development, legal talent management, career advising, learning and development, or a related area Bachelor's degree required; J.D. or advanced degree preferred Experience designing and managing training or professional development programs Ability to work effectively with attorneys, practice group leaders, and senior stakeholders Understanding of adult learning principles and evolving legal industry trends, including technology and AI Strong project management and communication skills Ability to handle confidential information and exercise sound judgment This is an opportunity to play a key role in expanding and centralizing attorney development programs while working directly with firm leadership and practice groups.
