Job Description
Human Resource Generalist At ADVICS Manufacturing Indiana, we are proud to manufacture advanced braking systems that save lives, improving safety and comfort in an environmentally responsible manner. Job Purpose The Human Resources Generalist in an important role that balances the needs of the team members with the needs of the business. This role is responsible for the daily functions of the Human Resources Department, including engaging with team members with collaboration and communication, facilitating recruitment and retention of strong ADVICS team, and facilitating programs and policies that meet the organizational objectives and compliance.
Objectives of this role:
Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, such as department metrics, HR program management, policies, process and work instructions, and business reporting. Protect the team members and business by assisting in the development, communication, and compliance with all policies, procedures, and laws- and provide guidance and interpretation for business operations Ensure HR program and policies are aligned with business needs and positive team member experience, including communication, recognition, inclusion, and professional development/training.
Leadership Responsibilities:
May assist with constructive and timely coaching and performance feedback. May lead projects collaboratively with other departmentsRequired Competencies:

- drive for results, high productivity, remove obstacles, take responsibility Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field At least one year of human resources experience Preferred Skills and Qualifications At least 3 years of human resources experience HR certification Background in training and safety management Position Type/Hours This is a full-time, exempt position that works primarily Monday-Friday, supporting all shifts as needed.
