Job Description

Volare Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to join our passionate team. As an HR Generalist, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department while partnering closely with senior leadership and HR team members. This position offers an opportunity to contribute across a variety of HR functions, including employee engagement, benefits, payroll, recruitment, compliance, and policy development. Responsibilities Serve as a knowledgeable and trusted HR resource across a broad range of functions, including front- and back-office HR support, employee engagement, benefits administration, payroll processing, recruitment, open enrollment, and other HR initiatives. Provide strategic input regarding recruitment needs to support organizational growth, staffing objectives, and workforce planning initiatives. Partner with the Senior Vice President of HR, Vice President of HR, Workforce Planning, and Benefits teams to ensure the effective administration of employee benefit programs and compliance with applicable regulations. Support employee engagement initiatives designed to foster a positive workplace culture, strengthen employee relationships, and enhance morale. Review applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations and compare requirements against current company policies and procedures. Assist in developing, updating, and implementing HR policies, procedures, forms, and templates to promote consistency, efficiency, and compliance throughout the organization. Collaborate with HR team members and organizational leaders to facilitate a variety of HR processes and initiatives. Maintain accurate and confidential employee information and documentation. Provide responsive, professional support to employees and leaders seeking HR guidance. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Three or more years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably within the healthcare or skilled nursing industry. Proficiency with computer technology, including HRIS and payroll systems. Strong knowledge of HR administrative functions, processes, and responsibilities. Advanced computer and HR software skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships with employees, leaders, and colleagues across all departments. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and professional reference inquiry.
