Job Description
Eaton's Electrical Sector - ARS division is currently seeking a Plant HR Generalist based onsite at our Fibrebond manufacturing campus in Minden, Louisiana. Relocation assistance is available to candidates who currently reside in the US. Fibrebond by Eaton is building the infrastructure that powers some of North America's most critical data center, utility, industrial, and communications operations. As the Human Resources Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience for a dynamic manufacturing workforce, serving as a trusted partner to leaders and employees across the facility. This hands-on role blends employee relations, HR compliance, talent acquisition support, benefits administration, and organizational development to support a high-performance culture where people, safety, quality, and continuous improvement thrive. The expected annual salary range for this role is $61,300 - $91,500 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. In 2025, Fibrebond was acquired by Eaton, expanding Eaton's modular solutions portfolio while preserving Fibrebond's strong engineering expertise, customer focus, and manufacturing operations in Louisiana. ## What you'll do:
- Recommend, plan, implement and coordinate a wide variety of Human Resource programs and policies and day-to-day personnel activities in accordance with legal, local, divisional and corporate guidelines.
- Provide support in functional areas of human resources including but not limited to recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, training, and special projects.
- Prepare reports in conformance with legislated requirements or organization needs.
- Communicate and implement corporate, divisional and local HR policies/procedures.
- Coordinate the recruitment process for open hourly or salary positions and assistance in the selection and promotion process of hourly and salaried workforce.
- Handle day-to-day employee relations issues.
- Maintain affirmative action and EEO plans to meet federal, state and corporate guidelines.
- Serve as liaison between the Eaton Service Center and third-party providers for employee health and welfare benefits issues.
- Facilitate employee orientation program for new employees and employees transferring into facility.
- Support and help coordinate inclusion and diversity activities and Eaton Resource Groups (ERG) activities.
- Support efforts to maintain positive employee relations and plant culture through knowledge of policies and procedures and responses to employee concerns/needs.
- Support efforts to accomplish the overall goals and objectives of Human Resources Department
- Partner with HR Services to complete employment record and compensation updates and audits
- Administrate the end employment process for both voluntary and involuntary separations.
- Support the safety, quality, and continuous improvement frameworks across the plant.
- Work in a safe manner and perform other duties as assigned within HR function.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of two (2) years of Human Resource (HR) experience.

- One (1) year of experience working in a human resource function within a manufacturing environment.
- SHRM or PHR certification.
- Knowledge of HR Information Systems.
- General knowledge of employment laws (such as the
ADA, EEO, FLSA, FMLA
) and ability to apply legal concepts to real world.Skills:
- Demonstrate discretion and ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential materials, and possess good business judgment.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to understand, interpret and easily communicate and align policies and practices.
