Payroll & HR Specialist Full-Time ($75,000/year)

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Payroll & HR Specialist to manage payroll operations and assist with light human resources functions. This is a key role within our company, requiring accuracy, discretion, and a strong understanding of payroll processes. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a small business environment where they can take ownership of their responsibilities. Process weekly payroll accurately and on time Maintain payroll records, including wages, deductions, and tax filings Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations Handle employee onboarding documentation and maintain personnel files Support basic HR functions including employee communication and recordkeeping Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees Work closely with management on payroll and HR needs Process monthly employee expenses Qualifications 3+ years of payroll experience required (more preferred) Experience with payroll systems (ADP, QuickBooks, or similar) Basic knowledge of HR practices and employment laws Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism Excellent communication and reliability
