Based on Experience $22-25/hr Position Overview Riverside Commons is seeking a motivated and adaptable Healthcare HR Generalist / Recruiter to join our growing organization. This position is ideal for a moderately experienced HR professional who has worked in a healthcare environment, excels at recruiting, and is interested in expanding their responsibilities as the position evolves. The successful candidate will be organized, approachable, and comfortable balancing high-priority recruitment needs with day-to-day HR responsibilities. We are looking for someone who can contribute immediately while remaining flexible and eager to grow with our team. Key Responsibilities Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, offers, and onboarding Develop effective strategies for recruiting qualified healthcare professionals Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future staffing needs Partner with managers to understand hiring needs and improve recruitment outcomes Coordinate new-hire orientation, onboarding documentation, and pre-employment requirements Maintain accurate and confidential employee records Assist with employee relations, performance management, attendance, and corrective-action processes Support benefits administration, leave requests, workers' compensation, and other HR programs Help ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and federal, state, and local employment laws Track recruiting activity and provide staffing updates to leadership Assist with employee engagement, retention, policy development, and other HR initiatives Take on additional responsibilities as the position and organization grow Required Qualifications Previous Human Resources experience within a healthcare organization is required Strong experience in recruitment, particularly sourcing and hiring healthcare professionals Approximately 2 or more years of HR and/or recruiting experience preferred Working knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and employee confidentiality Strong communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable using applicant-tracking systems, HR software, job boards, and Microsoft Office Professional, dependable, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow into additional HR responsibilities Preferred Qualifications Some College in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field Experience recruiting clinical and nonclinical healthcare positions Familiarity with healthcare credentialing, background checks, licensing, and compliance requirements What We Offer A collaborative and supportive work environment An opportunity to help shape and grow the HR function Professional development and advancement opportunities Ala-Carte Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401k with 10% Contribution Match If you are a resourceful healthcare HR professional with a passion for recruitment and a desire to grow with an organization, we encourage you to apply.
