Job Description
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the responsibility of the Human Resources Coordinator is to interact and build successful relationships with employees and management. Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, and selection of candidates for various levels of open positions. Help ensure compliance with State and Federal employment regulations. Coordinate and facilitate training relevant to Operations for new and existing employees. Evaluate the trainees for the effectiveness of training and individual employee growth. Essential Functions To provide support in functional areas of Human Resources, including, but not limited to, benefit administration, leave of absence administration, recruitment and employment, communication, employee relations, training, and special projects, in order to ensure compliance with policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations. Serve as a communication liaison for those individuals involved in the hiring process. Provides guidance to employees and managers with regard to employment policies and regulations. Assist in the coordination and administration of employee benefit plans. Consult with management and other organizational members to understand developmental needs, make recommendations to address those needs, and gain agreement regarding the implementation of the recommendations. Have a working knowledge of employment law as it relates to
