Job Description

Position Summary:
The Onboarding Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring new hires have a smooth transition into the company. This role is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the onboarding process, ensuring that new employees feel welcome, informed, and prepared to succeed in their roles.
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires from the time of offer acceptance through their first weeks of employment. Coordinate all onboarding logistics including new hire paperwork, background checks, benefits enrollment, and IT setup. Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to ensure onboarding plans are tailored to each new hire's role. Ensure compliance with all company policies and employment laws during the onboarding process. Maintain accurate onboarding records and regularly update the onboarding checklist and documentation. Collect feedback from new hires and recommend improvements to the onboarding process. Support ongoing employee engagement initiatives and assist with other HR-related administrative tasks as needed.
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. 1-3 years' experience with onboarding, HR or related administrative role.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
