POSITION SUMMARY
: The HR Generalist will play a key role in ensuring a seamless hiring and onboarding process for all new employees. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and candidates to deliver professional and positive experience from application through the first day of employment. You will also provide day-to-day HR support at our 2 locations: Albert Lea, MN and Cedar Valley, IA
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle for roles ranging from entry-level to leadership positions.
  • Collaborate with department managers to create and maintain accurate job descriptions.
  • Post open positions and source qualified candidates using Indeed, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Conduct initial screenings, schedule interviews, and support the hiring process end to end.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and assist with reporting through QuickBooks.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Promote positive employee relations and assist with engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support team and business objectives
  • Conduct monthly and annual trainings
REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty independently and satisfactorily.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written form and interface with all departments and customers.
  • Must maintain absolute confidentiality.
  • Must be able to multi-task, be accurate, have good organizational skills and handle high levels of stress. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 year of experience in recruiting or HR Generalist/Assistant roles preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; QuickBooks knowledge a plus
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Hold high standard of integrity
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 15lbs or more
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
  • Some travel required
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
