Job Summary This position exists to provide Career Services and CareerForce information to job seekers in person and virtually through orientations, group instruction, and one-on-one assistance with a priority on serving Unemployment Insurance Applicants and Veterans, through activities such as re-employment calling, so job seekers are able to make informed career choices. The incumbent provides career guidance consulting and resources to job seekers and provides training on how to seek employment through Job Search classes, Resume Writing classes and other employment-related workshops. This position is out of the St. Cloud CareerForce location but will also work at the Willmar CareerForce location one day per week. This position is telework eligible. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held. • of experience in a role providing employment and training services, case management, or a similar role as determined by the agency.

Applicants that meet the above minimum qualification will be further evaluated on the following: Skill in the development and presentation of workshops for adult career seekers, to be offered virtual and in person. Communication skills to connect career seekers to work force training opportunities to advance skills. Ability to form and grow connections with community partners such as educational institutions, employers and supportive services to assist career seekers in gaining employment. Ability to adapt to changing work priorities and goals. Organizational skills to track expenses using Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Incumbent must maintain valid driver's license and insurance OR have other reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, social work, human services, counseling or other closely related field as determined by the agency. Experience using CareerForce.
