Job Description
GLO Resources is hiring an HR Generalist to work in Caruthersville, MO . This is a full-time, on-site position. The pay is between $70,000 and $75,000 experience dependent. The schedule is Monday - Friday on 1 shift and may require occasional overtime. Position Summary The HR Generalist provides day-to-day human resources support within a manufacturing environment. This role assists with onboarding, employee relations, HR policy administration, and benefits coordination. The HR Generalist works closely with management and employees to ensure compliance with employment laws, maintain accurate records, and support a positive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities Coordinate employee onboarding and assist with new hire orientation. Administer and interpret HR policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with applicable labor regulations. Serve as a primary contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace procedures. Maintain accurate employee records while ensuring confidentiality and data security. Assist in handling employee relations matters, including concerns, complaints, and workplace investigations. Support performance management processes and assist with workforce planning efforts. Help administer employee benefits and assist with leave programs such as FMLA, workers' compensation, and other leave requests. Maintain required HR documentation, including personnel files and EEO/AA reporting. Support training initiatives and employee engagement activities. Assist with unemployment claims and documentation for hearings when necessary. Provide general administrative support to the HR department. Perform other duties as assigned to support HR operations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. At least 2 years of experience in a human resources role. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Experience with UKG platform preferred Working knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and HR policies. Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with HRIS platforms such as UltiPro preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
