Job Description
Golden Heart Care Center is a growing in-home care agency dedicated to helping seniors and individuals with disabilities remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. We are looking for an organized, compassionate, and motivated professional who enjoys solving problems, helping others, and making a meaningful difference every day. The Client Care & Staffing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring our clients receive reliable, high-quality care by matching caregivers with client needs, coordinating schedules, recruiting and onboarding caregivers, and serving as a primary point of contact for both clients and employees. Primary Responsibilities Client Care Serve as a primary contact for clients and their families. Coordinate new client admissions and service start dates. Conduct regular client satisfaction calls and follow-up visits as needed. Respond promptly to client concerns and resolve issues professionally. Maintain accurate client documentation and communication records. Staffing & Scheduling Schedule caregivers for all client shifts. Ensure clients remain fully staffed whenever possible. Quickly respond to caregiver call-offs and staffing emergencies. Match caregivers with clients based on availability, skills, personality, and client preferences. Monitor schedules to reduce overtime and improve efficiency. Caregiver Recruiting & Onboarding Recruit caregivers through online job boards, referrals, and community outreach. Review applications and conduct phone screenings and interviews. Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and onboarding paperwork. Assist with orientation and new employee training. Maintain an active pipeline of qualified caregivers. Employee Support Build positive relationships with caregivers. Assist employees with scheduling questions and workplace concerns. Help improve caregiver retention through consistent communication and support. Recognize and celebrate employee achievements. Administrative Duties Maintain accurate employee and client records. Assist with EVV documentation and scheduling updates. Support payroll preparation and administrative reporting. Maintain confidentiality of all client and employee information. Perform additional office duties as assigned. Required Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems. Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team. Professional, dependable, and compassionate attitude. Preferred Experience in home care, healthcare, staffing, scheduling, or human resources. Experience with caregiver scheduling software or EVV systems. Supervisory or leadership experience is a plus.
