Job Description

The People Services Generalist serves as the first point of contact for the People Department, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to leaders, employees, and providers. This role is responsible for coordinating daily office operations, supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, assisting with employee relations and learning initiatives, maintaining accurate records, and connecting team members with the resources they need. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to delivering a positive employee experience while supporting the organization's mission, vision, and values.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
One or more years' experience in fact-paced office setting required, working with educational processes or human resources processes preferred. Oracle HRIS experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to use spreadsheet program (Excel preferred) to analyze data and prepare accurate and easily interpreted reports. Demonstrated moderate proficiency in office software required (Microsoft preferred). Demonstrated ability to research best practices and make recommendations to incorporate into current policies. Demonstrated ability to use feedback from diverse individuals or groups and implement an effective solution, including ensuring compliance with legal and system policy requirements. Demonstrated ability to implement decisions using effective interpersonal skills and without sacrificing relationships.
EDUCATION
HR-related Associates degree or a Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience preferred.
APTITUDES
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities effectively and to easily adapt to change. Demonstrated customer-centered philosophy, high ethical standards and the ability to deal with confidential information are required.
