Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a HR Store / Human Resources Generalist to provide Human Resources support at the store level, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, labor laws, and HR best practices. This position plays a key role as a liaison between employees, Store Management, and the Corporate Human Resources team, supporting onboarding, employee relations, compliance, documentation, and organizational culture initiatives. Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources & Administration Execute the onboarding process for new employees. Register employees in timekeeping, payroll, and training systems. Maintain complete, organized, and confidential employee files (I-9, W-4, identification documents). Coordinate and document performance evaluations (60-day and annual). Manage offboarding processes and notify Corporate Human Resources. Maintain ongoing communication with Corporate HR regarding new hires, terminations, and status changes. Employee Relations Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and concerns. Support Store Management in the consistent and well-documented application of disciplinary actions. Document verbal warnings, written warnings, and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs). Escalate sensitive situations to Corporate Human Resources. Promote a respectful and professional work environment. Recruitment & Hiring Coordinate store hiring needs with Corporate HR. Follow up on open positions and candidate status. Support interviews and selection processes. Coordinate seasonal hiring when applicable. Compliance, Benefits & Training Provide general guidance to employees regarding benefits and eligibility. Coordinate informational meetings with benefits providers. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws. Support labor audits by providing required documentation. Coordinate and track mandatory training (compliance, harassment prevention, internal policies). Administrative Coordination (Non-Operational) This role collaborates with Store Management from an administrative and compliance perspective only and does not have direct responsibility for daily store operations. Scheduling (Compliance Review): Review employee schedules to ensure compliance with labor laws (overtime, breaks, wage and hour requirements).

Attendance & Punctuality Review:

Analyze attendance and punctuality data for documentation, evaluations, and disciplinary processes.

HR Administrative Requests:

Coordinate HR-related administrative requests such as uniforms and training materials. Safety & OSHA (Administrative): Coordinate safety training and maintain OSHA and incident documentation. Organizational Culture Promote corporate values throughout the store. Support employee recognition and workplace culture initiatives. Act as an ambassador of the company's culture at the store level. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent ( Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred ). Previous experience in Human Resources or personnel administration (retail experience preferred). Knowledge of labor laws and HR processes. Ability to coordinate administrative processes without assuming direct operational responsibilities . Strong communication, organization, and conflict management skills. High level of confidentiality and professional ethics. Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office. Bilingual (English/Spanish). Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
