HR Generalist Shift/Hours/Days:

Monday through Thursday, 10am to 7pm and Friday, 8am to 5pm. Occasional flexibility needed to support other shifts, including 3rd shift.

$55,000 to $60,000 annually Client Profile Our client is a large manufacturing organization in the Winston Salem area. This HR Generalist will work onsite supporting employees and leadership within a fast paced industrial environment. The primary focus of this position is employee relations and workplace investigations, along with broader day to day HR support. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary HR contact for employee questions, complaints, and workplace concerns. Conduct employee relations and workplace investigations, including fact finding, interviews, documentation, and follow through. Support progressive discipline, corrective action, and termination processes. Maintain confidentiality throughout employee relations matters and investigations. Complete employee movement forms, exit paperwork, and separation documentation. Provide backup support for FMLA and ADA administration. Assist with timekeeping and payroll processes as needed. Facilitate and track annual performance reviews. Prepare and maintain HR reports and compliance documentation. Support compliance with federal and state employment laws and company policies. What You'll Bring Previous experience in an HR Generalist, HR Specialist, HR Coordinator, Employee Relations, or similar HR position. Hands on experience conducting workplace investigations and addressing employee relations concerns. Experience interviewing employees, supervisors, or witnesses and documenting findings. Familiarity with progressive discipline, corrective action, and employee performance matters. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential employee matters. Ability to build relationships with employees and managers in a fast paced environment. Experience with FMLA, ADA, payroll, timekeeping, HR reporting, or employee documentation is preferred. Comfortable working fully onsite in an active manufacturing environment requiring PPE, including steel toe footwear and hearing protection. Comfortable with significant walking and regular stair use throughout the facility.
