Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking an HR Generalist in Whitsett, NC to support daily Human Resources operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working with employees and managers, managing workforce data, supporting onboarding, and helping improve HR processes. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with confidential employee information. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, analytical abilities, and experience with HR administration are essential to success in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Employee Onboarding & HR Support Manage and support the employee onboarding process from hire through orientation. Coordinate first-day employee communications with internal stakeholders. Prepare employee access badges and site access materials. Review and verify I-9 documentation and ensure timely submission to HR Support. Assist employees with onboarding questions, HR forms, and employment paperwork. Support employee status changes and general HR administrative processes. Workforce Reporting & Analytics Prepare and maintain global headcount reports. Generate building headcount and departmental workforce reports. Prepare and analyze attrition reports to monitor turnover trends. Compile and maintain plant data reports supporting business operations. Create and maintain workforce reports for HR and Finance leadership. Audit employee data and identify discrepancies requiring correction. Utilize Microsoft Excel to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency. Employee Relations & HR Administration Support employee investigations and workplace concerns while maintaining confidentiality. Document employee relations matters and maintain appropriate records. Serve as a resource for employees regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and HR-related questions. Partner with managers and supervisors to provide guidance on employee matters. Assist with conflict resolution and employee issue follow-up as directed by HR leadership. Support employee engagement and retention initiatives. HR Compliance & Employee Records Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and documentation. Review employee records and determine rehire eligibility in accordance with company guidelines. Support internal audits and documentation requests. Monitor compliance-related activities and documentation requirements. Ensure HR records are complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. HR Systems & Process Improvement Create and manage Microsoft Forms for HR processes, employee communications, and information collection. Utilize Microsoft Power Automate to streamline HR workflows when applicable. Assist with HR projects, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support workforce planning requests and organizational reporting needs. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the overall employee experience. Additional Responsibilities Support HR team initiatives and special projects. Provide administrative support for HR programs and activities. Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, administration, onboarding, or employee relations. Experience with employee onboarding and I-9 verification. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting and data management. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Experience with HRIS systems and workforce reporting tools. Experience creating and managing Microsoft Forms. Experience with Microsoft Power Automate. Knowledge of employee relations processes and HR compliance requirements.
