The Role The Client Onboarding Specialist is responsible for managing the onboarding process for new clients for the firm. This role requires strong knowledge of insurance and investment accounts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with external parties to fulfill client needs.
General Responsibilities :
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding process, addressing any questions or concerns. Lead the client onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for new clients. Coordinate with client to ensure completion and accuracy of client documentation. Coordinate with internal teams to open insurance and investment accounts for clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with external parties (outside lines), such as insurance carriers to fulfill client needs and execute transactions. Liaise with insurance underwriters to obtain rates and resolve client inquiries or issues. Coordinate with investment team to facilitate account transfers, trades, and other investment-related transactions. Collaborate with technology team to ensure provisions are set-up for clients to access accounts via client account portal. Facilitate the transition to the client service team once account requirements have been fulfilled and accounts are active. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the onboarding process and improve client satisfaction. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in CRM. Collaborate with the Client Service team to ensure a seamless transition from onboarding to ongoing client support. Role Requirements Strong knowledge of insurance and investment accounts. Demonstrated understanding of regulatory requirements. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to clients and internal teams. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and effectively priorities tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM.
