Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented HRIS & Benefits Specialist to support the administration, maintenance, and optimization of HR systems and employee benefits programs. HRIS & Benefits Specialist will partner closely with HR, payroll, and vendors to ensure data integrity, efficient processes and compliance. Administer and maintain HRIS records, workflows, reporting, and system updates.
Manage employee benefits enrollment, changes, terminations, and annual open enrollment processes.
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to benefits and HR systems.
Audit HRIS and benefits data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Generate reports and analyze HR data to support compliance, workforce planning, and leadership requests.
Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate deductions, eligibility tracking, and benefits reconciliation.
Assist with vendor management and support implementation or enhancement of HR technology solutions.
Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and company policies related to benefits and employee records.
Support onboarding and employee lifecycle processes within the HRIS.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in HRIS administration, benefits administration, or HR operations.
Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday or similar systems.
Strong Excel, reporting, and data analysis skills.
Knowledge of employee benefits programs, enrollment processes, and HR compliance requirements.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Experience supporting open enrollment and benefits audits.
HR certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or CEBS is a plus.
