Bilingual English / Spanish Position Overview A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support a workforce of 100+ employees. This is a hands-on role covering employee relations, payroll, compliance, benefits, recruiting, onboarding, and day-to-day HR support. The ideal candidate understands the demands of an hourly manufacturing workforce and can work confidently with both employees and plant leadership. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and managers. Support employee relations, investigations, coaching, and corrective action. Process and support payroll using ADP. Ensure compliance with New Jersey employment and labor laws. Support recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and offboarding. Administer benefits, leave programs, attendance, and HR policies. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation. Partner with supervisors and plant leadership on workforce issues. Support performance management and employee-development activities. Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, policies, and workplace concerns. Qualifications 5+ years of HR experience. Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field Experience supporting 100+ employees. Previous HR experience in manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or a similar hourly environment. Strong working knowledge of New Jersey employment and labor law. Hands-on ADP payroll experience. Strong employee-relations and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, on-site environment. Preferred Bilingual English / Spanish ADP Workforce Now HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar Benefits and leave administration Workers' compensation experience Experience supporting hourly production employees What We're Looking For A strong candidate will be a hands-on HR Generalist with plant-floor credibility, solid payroll and compliance knowledge, and the ability to handle employee relations independently in a manufacturing environment.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
