A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Onboarding/Offboarding Specialist to oversee the full employee onboarding lifecycle for attorneys and professional staff. This role serves as a key liaison between Human Resources, Recruiting, IT, Finance, Facilities, and other departments to ensure a seamless and professional transition for new hires, lateral partners, and departing attorneys. Responsibilities Manage onboarding from offer acceptance through the employee's first 90 days. Coordinate background checks, conflict checks, required documentation, system access, workspace setup, and first-day logistics. Develop onboarding schedules and coordinate orientation, training, and introductory meetings. Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming attorneys and professional staff. Coordinate onboarding and integration for lateral partners, including conflicts, client matter transitions, billing arrangements, and practice group integration. Partner with internal departments to ensure timely completion of onboarding requirements and compliance documentation. Monitor 30/60/90-day progress, address issues, and coordinate follow-up. Develop and maintain onboarding procedures, checklists, templates, and resources. Track onboarding metrics and identify opportunities to improve processes and the employee experience. Coordinate offboarding and the transition of responsibilities for departing attorneys and staff. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of HR, employee onboarding, or related experience preferred. Law firm experience strongly preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work effectively with attorneys, professional staff, and cross-functional teams. High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Up to $115,000.00 per year
